Dr. Bilal Fazil B.D.S., PhD (London)

GDC number: 246045

Bilal is the in-house Oral Surgeon at The Willows and has a keen interest in dental extractions without the need for surgical intervention (avoiding unnecessary removal of jaw bone) and the treatment of phobic and anxious patients. He chose to go on sabbatical from clinical dentistry and returned to academia having completed a PhD in Oral Pathology (oral disease) at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he became acquainted with Jai. Bilal then went on to teach and train budding dentists for a number of years in the field of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine at Guys, King’s, and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. He currently holds an Oral Surgery post at Hereford Hospital and maintains a weekly teaching post at both King’s College and Guy’s Hospital in London.

Bilal, like Chris, is a cricket fanatic too (get either of them started at you own peril). Bilal is a regular at the cricket nets and greatly enjoys reading and cinema.

All patients will need to be triaged by telephone and also undergo a COVID-19 screening before they can be seen.
